Do you need a small application to convert Microsoft PowerPoint presentations into executable files or screensavers? Well, I needed one, so I started searching. I found PowerPoint Slide Show Converter.

The publisher says that the program will work, even if you don't have Microsoft PowerPoint installed on your computer. That's what I had in mind. There are two ways of converting a slideshow. First, there is a "simple mode", which you should use if you don't have PowerPoint installed on your computer. This conversion mode worked as a charm.

The second mode is the "enhanced mode", which allows you to add a soundtrack (midi, wav or mp3 files) or to specify advanced options (ex: delay between slides, transition effect, etc.).
